It depends on how it’s cut. Colored diamonds cost more than whites(clear). But because it is colored you got to see that it is consistent through out to get the most value out of it. Also if it is loose or if it is mounted and how it was mounted may determine its value. If it is a new diamond, see if it has been registered, a new registered diamond will attain it highest value vs one of the same carat or higher that has not been registered.

If the stone is loose take it to any jeweler and just make sure they do al the work in front of you.
