Can you wear BioFlex labret studs in your tragus while its in healing process?
i had my tragus done ealier this year, and the 12 weeks healing process is over, well it should be, cos im not sure if its healed properly yet or not.
and sum1 suggested i get a bioflex labret for my tragus cos its safer than a normall earring, so i was wondering whether it would infect my ear or sumthin?

well i dont want to go back to where i had it pierced because they’ll probs tell me its healed and fine cos they did it with a gun ! so they obv dont know how to do it properly, because its meant to be done with a needle to prevent my cartlidge shattering

Oh my god >.< Are you from the UK? Because if you are, that is actually completely illegal. You're lucky nothing has happened to your ear, take this as a lesson to do research before you get a piercing! Even if it is for something as small as a Tragus. Research as much as you can for everything. If you are gonna get another piercing, I'd suggest checking BMEzine, as they have pictures, experiences, advice, and even a wiki telling you how each piercing should be done and a bunch of other stuff. Bioflex or not shouldn't matter for a place like the tragus. Bioflex is usually better for those that have an allergy to metal or if the piercing is in a place that is going to go through a lot of movement. So it doesn't really matter for a place like the Tragus. You should be fine changing the stud so long as it is no longer leaking lymph (getting crusty)
