Crystal Drop Necklace

Crystal Drop Necklace
Quartz Crystal Necklace that was dropped…..?

My grandmother gave me a necklace with a beautiful quartz crystal pendant as a present 14 years ago. When I went to put it on about a month ago, it slipped off the chain and fell onto the tiles, chipping a medium sized chunk out on one side. I’m pretty upset about it.

I know that crystals have power and this could be the crystals way of saying that it has done all it can for me and it’s time for it to move on to someone else.

Could this be it or is it just a case of butter fingers? As it’s got such sentimental value, I really don’t want to give it up and would rather get it fixed.

From what I’ve heard and read, if a crystal or stone spontaniously fractures, then there’s been a surge of negative energy aimed at the wearer. The stone takes the brunt of the energy to protect its owner and shatters. One story involved a woman who wore a particular malachite pendant constantly, and the stone shattered when she was in an area believed to be infested with non-human entities. After experiencing some strong negative sensations, she looked down and the stone had fractured beyond repair.

But if the crystal is dropped and breaks, then that sounds more like a simple case of “Oopsie dropsie.” I’d get the necklace repaired and continue to wear it as a memento of your grandmother.
