Are lab created diamonds as valuable as genuine diamonds?

I know what the difference between them is, but are lab created diamonds as valuable? For example, if I were to buy two identical stones, but one was lab created and one natural and took them to another jeweler, would they be valued as the same?

Lab created gems are way less expensive than natural gems because natural gems take much longer to develope. Lab gems are created in larger quantity and natural gems need the right environment just to develope and quantity is very low which makes them rare and expensive.
