what do you think about these engagement ring specs?

I really like this ring, but don’t want anything that looks super cheap. I have looked into clarity and see that SI1-I1 is not very good on 1ct or more, but this ring has 4 .1ct stones that make up the larger stone, so would you be able to see the imperfections very well?

1.20ct diamond ladies engagement ring and band set in 10kt white gold. The rings are made of princess cut, round and baguette diamonds. Its top diamond setting is made of 4 large (approximately .10ct each) princess cut diamonds in an invisible setting. Set to the sides of the princess cut diamonds are round diamonds. Graduating up the side of the engagement ring and on the band are channel set baguette diamonds. Round diamonds are set on the matching band, and baguette diamonds also graduate down the band. The diamonds sparkle and can be seen from every angle on the ring. They together meaure a 1/4 of an inch wide along the finger.

When you purchase a tension set ring the diamonds are much smaller, so they keep the cost down. It’s also not a very good ring design in general, many women have had problems with tension set rings like that because when you accidently knock the ring it may loosen a prong and you can lose a diamond…then all the other diamonds are lose and able to fall out as well since they’re set to hold one another in…also the clarity is horrid but that’s normal for chain stores. If you want something nice, try a local shop or http://www.abazias.com or http://www.bluenile.com Just as a side note, baguettes are the dirtiest diamonds (when I worked with a jeweler he told me never to buy them and that is why)….I wouldn’t suggest you purchase a ring with them. Normally they are made with the diamond scraps that literally are cut away from a larger diamond in the making. I would say go for a smaller tcw (total carat weight) ring with better quality. The ring will still sparkle but it just won’t be as prominent as if the clarity was better.
