Can you mix a simple pearl necklace with diamond stud earrings?

I want to wear s nice elegant pearl necklace with some diamond stud earrings, would this be acceptable?

Of course! I hate it when people say only like styles work. You don’t always want to match, but contrast!! I think it sounds very classy and sexy.
