I think anything over a carat will look a bit ridiculous unless your a really big guy.

If your a slight body type I’d go with half a carat to max a 75 point single stone.

If the ring is peppered in small stones it can look a bit garish or “pimpish”. Try to stick to a solitary rock or just a few good stones in an aesthetic pattern… Something tasteful and not too over the top.
