How can you tell if a diamond ring is real?

my fiance bought me an engagement ring. I doubt he had the money to buy a real diamond but I was still wondering…
the ring’s temporary until he can buy me one “I deserve”. I’m not going to ask because it’s not important.

Why would you want to marry someone that you can’t even pose an honest question to? Ask him! Because if you can’t ask him THAT, you’re going to have some much bigger problems in your marriage.

Sure you could ask a jeweler – but what if you don’t get the answer you want? Are you going to turn it around on him?
