If you take it to a jewelry store or a pawn shop you will get raped. Sell the ring privately. Hopefully you have an appraisal; if not, invest the $75 in getting one. Then take out an ad in the classifieds. Selling the ring on ebay will be a risky proposition. If you do it this way be sure of a couple of things. First, make certain that the money clears all banks before mailing out the ring. Second, be sure to be as accurate and descriptive as possible. There are a million pieces of diamond jewelry for sale on ebay… it isn’t hte best place to go for exposure and money.
