Getting your wedding band and engagement ring banded together?
I’ve been having the most difficult time with my rings sliding around my finger. My wedding band is a 1/2 eternity band (diamonds only on the front, metal around the back) and when it slides, it doesn’t look nice because the metal band is scratched and dull (lots of wear and tear!). My engagement ring has three diamonds on either side of the main diamond in the middle…so when they are both aligned, it looks nice. Problem is, they hardly ever stay aligned to look that nice!! 
So, has anyone gotten their rings banded (soldered?) together? Yay or nay??
Your ring sounds identical to mine…LOL! I have wondered about getting mine soldered as well. The jeweler where my hubby got my rings told me that it will not stop the sliding around. I didn’t understand so he just put a little metal band on them to strap them together temporarily so I could see what he was talking about. Now instead of just my band sliding they both slid to the side and I was finding myself still adjusting them. He said this was because they are top heavy and that it may help if I get them soldered and sized a little smaller so they fit very snugly. I can’t stand my rings to fit snugly so I haven’t gotten mine soldered yet. If you want to know what it is like wrap a small wire or yarn around them to see if it makes it better for you if they are soldered. Also if you have a warranty on your rings you may be able to get the metal refinished. My hubby purchased mine with a lifetime guarantee/warranty on the diamonds and the metal so I have get mine refinished every 2 years and they look brand new again. Something to check into.
