when buying a certified GIA diamond,is it true they all cost about the same as they go by market price?

i found while shopping for diamond rings,shop owners were more flexible when selling non-certified diamonds,but as for GIA certified diamonds,there all about the same(i guess due to market price?)is this true

A GIA Certified diamond will have a lot less variation in;

Clarity- One has to be GIA trained, tested, and use GIA clarity scale to evaluate the stone.

Same for color and accuracy of cut.

Carat weight is pretty much on a certified weight scale, and is crime to be off by more than .5% in many states. Seldom is this a problem area.

It takes some time and personal application to good at this stuff. You can lose your gia certification if you make mistakes, so take your time and get it right.

Many jewelers think that their evaluation is as accurate as GIA”s; this seldom holds true, but sometimes you do find a deal on a person that undervalued a stone. But you better know your stuff., and have access to true white light and a good diamond scope. If your jewelry store does not have a x20 scope and an appropriate white light, don’t trust their evaluation.
