I’ve lost a 3-diamond 18 kt gold antique ring my grandmother gave me.?
There’s an inscription the ring ending in the letters “…ger”. I would take it off because it was scratching me because a piece of gold on the gold band under one of the diamonds had broken off. I never had it appraised and am heartbroken about this. I’ve searched and wonder if someone took it from my desk at work. If so, I have to try to remember what the date was when I left it on my desk so I can report it. Or where else could it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If someone could give me the name or place and time of who/what/where it might be I would offer a small reward if it helps me find it. Thank you!
I would post a sign at work saying that the ring is lost and explaining that it has sentimental value to you and offer a reward. I doubt if someone would have taken it from your desk, but don’t know your working situation. Look through you clothes hamper. Have you worn anything that was snug? Try to think of where you have been exactly lately and when you might have taken it off. If you don’t locate it, and you have home owners insurance, you might be able to make a claim on it. However, of course you won’t get anything near to what it means to you. Good Luck!
