Where can I find a man made diamond engagement ring?

I am getting engaged and have ethical/moral objections to buying a mined diamond. I know that there are man made (cultured)diamonds but I can’t seem to find a store that sells them. Any one know where I should look?

Here is the thing. A few companies make ACTUAL man made diamonds, not the imitations that are everywhere. A company that is extremely popular with custom jewelry stores is Chatham. This company makes mostly colored diamonds, pink, canary, and blue. Here’s why: it is prohibitively expensive to make white diamonds since the ingredients have to be so pure. The canary diamonds are a pretty yellow though, and can be made quite large. They are close in price to a mined diamond too. To find a person who deals in Chatham “Created” Diamonds, go to their website and use the store locator.
If you don’t want a colored diamond buy a created white sapphire instead. No ethical problems and they are strong enough to be used in an engagement ring. They look similar to a diamond too.
If you live in the central TX area, my old store I worked at was Bentons in Salado, TX. We would order several different diamonds and then let the customer choose their fave.
PS Don’t buy a CZ, they are too fragile to be used in engagement rings.
