Can anyone out there help me value this ruby ring?

It has three rubies and two diamonds, they are old cut i can tell, it is set in rose gold and was sold to me from 1780, although it was a gamble as it has no hallmarks! I do not want to sell it, it is just for the sake of my own curiosity. Thank you.

it is impossible for anybody to value it here. we would need to know the colour & carat weight of the rubies…& the clarity, colour & carat weight of the diamonds.

it doesn’t mean it’s not gold if it’s not hallmarked..it might have come from abroad..India or somewhere like that.

take it into your local jeweller (not samuels or people like that…try to find a decent independent one) – & ask them if they think it is worth having valued for insurance purposes…then they’d give you an idea & if you had it valued for insurance…you would get a full description & replacement value estimate. WOW WOW…sorry long answer!!
