Round Diamond Sapphires

Round Diamond Sapphires
Is Universal Diamond Exchange/Diamond Solitaire King legitimate?

I am interested in purchasing a ring from them but since they are on eBay I was wondering if their diamonds seemed “too good to be true.” Included is the link to the item listing on eBay with all the specifics of the ring. Thanks!

I like what I’ve read about it, but I couldn’t find the certification. I recommend that you avoid EGL and stick with GIA or AGS.

Even then, without more information, I wouldn’t go for it.

It’s too bad you can’t see the diamond’s capability using an Isee2 analyzer:

www.isee2.com

or

www.GEMEX.com

If you can personally see the diamond and it sparkles like crazy under fluorescent light, candle light, disco light, incandescent light, sun light, halogen light, etc, then you might be okay.

I got my wife’s ring at Diamond Brokers of Florida:

http://www.dbof.com/shipping.htm

Or you could check out these other online sources:

www.WhiteFlash.com

www.GoodOldGold.com

www.ExcelDiamonds.com

www.BlueNile.com

Blue Nile’s database is good, but they don’t provide you with photos or analysis reports of the diamond. I wouldn’t go with them for that reason.

Happy hunting.
