Will my high setting diamond ring make a hole in my leather gloves?

)i didn’t get an answer in another category so im trying this one now) they are cashmere lined leather gloves and when i were them with my engagement ring it peeps through the leather so i can see the outline of it. the bigger size gloves were to big so i cant go bigger in the gloves. is leather strong enough to deal with the ring poking up without ripping? thanks.

Probably. I mean with time the ring is going to rub against the glove… But it would be years down the road. Leather is really tough and you shoudl be okay. I wouldnt worry about it.
