Swarovski Crystal Cuff

Swarovski Crystal Cuff

As a buyer for an online shop selling menÂ’s luxury fashion accessories, including cuff links, I have to adhere to customer demands and source products accordingly. If you donÂ’t to your customers they wonÂ’t buy. And so begins an arduous task.

The men’s fashion accessories market in England is undersupplied and the demand for English made products is strong and getting stronger, so the balance is in my favour, however meeting this demand is not easy. To find cuff links that conform to core principles of good design .i.e. “form and function” amongst all the imitations. The task gets harder and even more so when searching for cuff links that are handmade in England with a maximum retail price of £65.00. However through persistence, my searching tactics were well rewarded. The first designer I discovered that conformed to my selection criteria was Ian Flaherty, who works out of his London studio. His cuff links stems are made from pure English Pewter, double coated with rhodium and inset with Swarovski Crystals or hand enameled. Ian’s cuff links are smartly designed and true to good form and function and priced accordingly.

A pair of Ian’s Swarovski Cube cuff links were hand picked by Victoria Gray editor of The Sunday Express Magazine and recently featured under the title “Twelve of the best gifts for fathers day” They were an instant hit.

There are few ways men can express themselves without their character being called into question. Wearing cufflinks and neckties are two ways to do this. If youÂ’re going to express yourself then do it with style. So if youÂ’re looking for something out of the ordinary without looking like a garish novelty then Ian FlahertyÂ’s cufflinks are worth more than a glance. And when you consider the materials used in their construction and the fact that they are handmade in England the price is no longer an issue.

And if price is an issue then there is no need for concern. Thanks to Simon Carter another premier British designer who recognized the demand for affordable cufflinks that differ from the rest, but without carrying the price tag. Simons’ cufflinks are not handmade in England; nickel is used instead of pewter or silver. Less expensive materials are used to adorn the cufflinks, like cat’s-eye glass in varying shades. Another favourite material of Simons’ is Mother of Pearl and Paua Shell, which comes from the far away shores of New Zealand. The way the materials are combined and arranged ensures individuality and from a starting price of £29.00 you’re assured value for money. One of his latest designs is very clever, called the Aspirin; you can store your headache pills, which are just a twist of the lid away.

There are other British designers on my list but as yet not fully researched, more on these another time. In the meantime do have a look at these designersÂ’ products and save yourself the leg work.

Crystal Silver Bracelet

Crystal Silver Bracelet

Congratulations! You’ve made it through a quarter of a century with your spouse – it’s time to celebrate! This milestone anniversary is extremely easy to plan, whether you’re organizing a large party with all your friends and family, a romantic dinner for just the two of you, or even if you’re simply exchanging gifts with your loved one to commemorate the event.

Silver is usually the theme color when planning a 25th anniversary party. Luckily, silver party decorations and gifts are easy to find year round. Use silver glitter to add sparkle to flowers, cards, centerpieces, gift wrap, balloons, etc. Set your party tables with disposable silver tablecloths, rent china and crystal with silver or chrome trim (or use inexpensive silver-colored Chinet-ware for easy clean-up), and use silver votive candles or flowers placed in silver-colored vases as centerpieces. Iris is the traditional flower for a 25th wedding anniversary, but you can substitute silver or white roses and spray-paint the stems and leaves silver. If you’re planning on having an anniversary cake, don’t forget a silver cake-topper!

Regardless of how you’re planning to celebrate your anniversary, don’t forget the most important part – the gift! Both the traditional and modern gifts for a 25th wedding anniversary are silver. This makes finding the perfect gift a snap, as there are hundreds of possibilities. A gift of jewelry is a popular choice, but why not add some flair to this otherwise “easy way out” gift? Find a double-sided bracelet that lets her dress up or down depending on which side she chooses to display – try a white pearl silver bracelet, one side made of strands of pearls, the other made with various types of silver chains. Place your gift of silver jewelry into a silver trinket box to make it a special keepsake. Or give her a personalized silver-plated compact mirror to keep inside her purse – every time she sees it, it will remind her of you!

If you’re seeking a gift you can display, why not place a special picture of the two of you (or even a wedding photo) into a personalized silver frame? If you’re making restaurant reservations for your anniversary celebration, try calling ahead to see if they can display the gift frame on your designated table as you arrive – your spouse will be touched! Tuck a special message or silver Hershey’s kiss inside a silver-plated fortune cookie and place it next to their dinner plate for a fun surprise.

No matter what you do to celebrate your 25th, be sure to tell your spouse just how special they are, and how much you’re looking forward to the next 25 years!

I bought my wife a Diamond Tennis Bracelet for a wedding gift and she has only been able to wear it 6 times.?

I bought the warranty and I am so glad I did. Each time she wears it a diamond falls out. So we take it back every time and they keep it for about 2 weeks and replace the diamond that falls out. Each time she gets it back she wears it for a few days and another one falls out. Well this last time we got it back and the yellow gold is now almost “wearing off” by the clasp and the diamonds that were replaced look darker and not as clear. I am fed up and want to just return, but am worried they will try to give me store credit or not take it back because to fit my wife’s wrist they had to take a few links out. Any suggestions on what my approach should be with them?

check and see what the return policy is first, then check the wording of your warranty (THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT RIGHT!), and your last chance of hope could be if you used your credit card to make the purchase (some c/c carry there customer satisfaction policy for goods purchased.
My husband bought me wedding set from Friedmans Jewelry and after i wore it for 7 months one of the smaller stones fell out of the engagement ring, had to pay to replace it and the stone they replaced it with was a crappier stone also AND the white gold now has a yellow tint to it. So now my wedding band is shiny white gold and the engagement ring has a tinge of yellow gold to it. I didn’t say anything about it b/c my husband would have thrown a fit all over the manager and besides it is a beautiful set and noone else notices the difference (not even him)!!

Swarovski crystal Bermuda Blue crystal colour and finish – a detailed description.

Deep Light-Filled Oceanic Beauty.

Bermuda blue is a longstanding Swarovski crystal special colour. Available in many of the smaller crystal designs (up to approx 20mm), the colour is created with a heavy metallic back-coating and special finish.

A darker tone than the ‘pure blue’ Swarovski sapphire blue aurora borealis, Bermuda blue is not a pure single-tone blue. As a multi-tone colour, Bermuda blue has a large chromatic range with variations displayed in response to ambient and background light conditions.

From pale aquamarine, high-noon sunlight piercing a peaked pacific wave at the precipitous moment of a cresting surf. Through blue steel and cobalt, clear skies and regal sapphires, hinting violets, cool placid alpine-lakes and soft velveteen lilac with capricious cyan glints. The cerulean splendour of glossy-brochure seas, lapping sun-kissed sands.

On to darker shades, with navy and peacock blue but always the ghosting presence of light-filled fresh green hues. A satin touch of purple, indigo and mauve, laser blue and turquoise as highlight counterpoint. A tranquil midnight blue envelopes the outer crystal edges as kaleidoscope spectra dance across brilliant facet faces.

The heavy back coating, similar in essence but more pronounced than that of Aurora Borealis, acts like a mirror when viewed from the crystal face. Reflecting colours within and without the crystal as well as adding a profound translucence and ‘flash’. This gives Bermuda blue its unmistakable tonal characteristics and brilliance, emphasizing the inherent colours and creating incidental radiant combinations.

The colour has a noticeable holographic effect in some light conditions, the deep blues and purples appearing to extend from the crystal surface. This is as a consequence of the many reflective facets and refracted colours.

Crystal Bangle Bracelet

Crystal Bangle Bracelet
how can i make a lucite bangle bracelet?

I have a lot of swavorski crystals with coned backs. These could be glued into a bangle bracelet, if I had a mold.

I hope I have explained this idea correctly.

I am unable to find how to make or buy a bangle bracelet mold or bangle with indentions to place these crystals.

Any ideas?

WOW! That is a hard one! I think I know exactly what you want, but as for where to find it. . . Do you have anywhere locally that teaches jewellry making? Maybe the teacher would have ideas or resources. Or, instead of lucite, try resin?
This site has different ideas ~ I wonder if you could use special clay to fashion a bracelet?

What is Swarovski crystal Heliotrope?

A detailed description of Swarovski crystal heliotrope colour.

Deep sparkling purple radiance.

As it’s floral namesake would imply, the Swarovski ‘Heliotrope’ crystal colour is based around a luxuriant mixture of purple tones, bathed and enhanced in reflective brilliance rendered by a heavy metallic back coating.

The ‘Heliotrope’ back coating is heavier and therefore provides an effect greater in intensity than that seen with the ‘aurora borealis’ finish. As with Bermuda Blue, the Heliotrope coating features a coloured mirror finish, ‘returning’ light within the particular hues of the crystal glass, which serves to further emphasize the featured colour range.

As with several Swarovski special finishes, Heliotrope provides a pleasing transient range, in reaction to the angle at which both directed and ambient light are received. In lateral light conditions, darkest purple, almost black, surrounds the crystal edges. Greys and pure crystal provide highlights as a soft transition moves across to imperial purples and velveteen midnight. As the range traverses lighter purples and lilac, stark incidental modulations to fuchsia, violet and cobalt appear across the facet planes.

Moving on towards the crystal interior, deep oceanic blue and green, turquoise and aqua merge to climax in a startling sapphire centre point, bathed in an ethereal almost 3D/holographic glow courtesy of the metallic back coating. But even here in the crystal heart, momentary flashes of pure deep purple reaffirm a core to the Heliotrope pallet.

In straight-ahead light, a clear lilac ‘starburst’ lies, still bearing the remarkable light-filled, central sapphire core, resplendent in profound tyrian borders.

Available on the smaller Swarovski crystal hearts and other smaller designs, Heliotrope displays best when its full range is allowed to reign across multiple facets, making it particularly suited to pendant designs in necklace and earrings.
