Diamond Yellow Gold
how gold and diamond jeweleries are priced for 18K yellow and white hand crafted items?
Actually the pricing principles are different from one to another. Several factors would be taken into consideration, 1. the price of mental or diamond on international market, which the main cost of a jewelry piece; 2 the cost of craft work, varied in different nations as some have cheap labor cost; 3 Other cost incurred when making these jewelry pieces; 4, the setting prices of other brands or stores, most sellers will compare other jewelry’s and then set price.

Hammered Gold Diamond
What is the meaning?? ?
Unbreakable, O Lord,
Is the love
That binds me to You:
Like a diamond,
It breaks the hammer that strikes it.
My heart goes into You
As the polish goes into the gold.
As the lotus lives in its water,
I live in You.
Like the bird
That gazes all night
At the passing moon,
I have lost myself dwelling in You.
O my Beloved –
Return.
dude, this poem is pretty simple and straightforward, i don’t see how you don’t see the meaning in its words…
“like a diamond”, meaning that his love is unbreakable, since some diamonds are so dense that not even hammers can shatter them.
“as the polish goes into the gold”, his love is like that extra gleam, that extra dash of beauty that makes his god radiant.
“like a bird”, an aimless wanderer endlessly careening through the vastness of love.
next time try thinking about it a little more…

Elegant Diamond Pendant
Okay, so you’ve got this special occasion coming up such as a birthday, anniversary, or Christmas and you want to get the special lady in your life a gift she will absolutely love. What are you going to get her? Your thought to buy Diamond Pendant Jewelry is always an excellent idea.
So you go to the store looking for the ideal necklace. The sales clerk walks you over to the jewelry case and shows you the selection. All of the designs look like great options but the prices range from $99 to over $900.
Question…which one are you going to choose? Which one is going to be the perfect choice based on design, quality, and price? Do you know what the characteristics are of high quality diamonds? How about the precious metal casing the diamonds are housed in? If it comes with a necklace, what makes for the most desirable chain?
These are valid questions. And obviously the answers to those questions not only impact the price you pay for the diamond pendant jewelry but they also play a huge role in the jewelry you choose.
So to help you find the perfect piece of jewelry for your special girl AND your pocket book, here are 3 things you can look for in finding high quality diamond pendant jewelry.
- Determine diamond quality – first you need to know about the 4 Cs of diamonds. They are cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. The great thing is that you don’t have to be a gemologist to know what to the quality of a diamond is in a piece of diamond pendant jewelry. Simply look for the descriptions of each of the Cs. For example, you want a “good” cut stone. The color is best when graded as D-F and diminishes in quality from there. A best quality clarity grade is F. That level decreases with an IF, VVS1, VVS2, and so on. For diamond pendant jewelry, a grade of I1, I2, and I3 still works well since flaws are not easily seen. And carat weight is based on your preference for diamond size. Understanding that one carat is a pretty good sized rock, .20 carats and above are notable sizes as well.
- Precious metal encasing the gemstones — themost common precious metals are gold, silver, and platinum. All three in their purest state are soft metals for practical use and are mixed with other metals to add strength and allow for easier shaping for jewelry design. The grades of these metals are based on their part of the whole metal content using a 1,000 point scale. For gold, 24k equals 100%. From there 18k equals 75%, 14k equals 58%, and so on. Pure platinum is 950 parts per 1,000. The grade reduces as the parts decrease. And pure silver requires a minimum of 925 parts per thousand of the jewelry content. As I’m sure you know, the price of the metal will decrease as the grade decreases. Of the three metals, platinum is naturally the most expensive.
- Necklace quality features — for the necklace you simply want to make sure that the design or cut of the chain is complimentary to the diamond pendant. Make sure the metal type and grade of the chain is the same as the metal type and grade of the pendant. The length of the chain should be considered for display of the pendant as well. And the clasp on the chain is important too with the lobster claw being a fan favorite.
With these three thoughts in mind, you are sure to choose the perfect diamond pendant jewelry for the woman you love. And you can make the decision knowing you got the best quality for the money you spent.
Here is an option for diamond pendant jewelry that many women have found to be elegant, classy, and very affordable. Plus, its design and quality represents today’s fashion taste. Natural Rough Diamond
Few people know of the Fancy Colored Diamonds, at least many people may not know them by that name. There’re many colors to meet the eye. These rough diamonds become classified, certified, put in categories and go through a grading process. Some of you may know of the famous Blue Diamond or the very expensive Pink Diamond purchased by famous celebrities. These rocks are quite popular with Hollywood Celebrities and the wealthy the world over.
Fancy Diamonds are found primarily in the Argyle mines of Australia. Their extremely rare and precious, constituting less than 1% of the world quantity of rough diamonds manufactured every year and this quantity gets less each year. These precious stones are found in many different colors such as; pink, blue, red, yellow, green, brown, purple, orange, gray, black, violet and even fancy white. Fancy loose diamonds can appear either as one primary color or one with a secondary hue. When the colored stone appears as a single color, the price is much more expensive. An example of one with a secondary hue is a pink diamond with an orange hue or a fancy color of brown, green and yellow, or a grayish blue diamond.
After these diamonds have been classified, these natural rough rocks are certified in a gemological institute such as GIA, HRD, and IGI. Once a stone has been graded and certified the natural loose diamond will have it’s own ID number. Measurements of the loose diamonds, diamond weight, diamond shape, clarity, polish, symmetry, and it’s fluorescence are recorded with the diamond ID. Colored diamonds come in all cuts, including: princess, oval, marquise, heart, pear, radiant, asscher, emerald, cushion and round.
The diamond price is reflected by these categories: color, cut, clarity, and carat cut. Colored diamonds are polished in a way unlike your common white diamond. On these diamonds, the color needs to be emphasized as much as possible. The grading system for colored stones, unlike white diamonds, go by color intensity. Fancy diamonds are graded by: light, fancy light, fancy, fancy intense, fancy deep, fancy dark and fancy vivid. The stronger the color the higher the price, and this goes for all Fancy Colored Diamonds.
Pink Diamonds have been the most popular of the colored diamonds. Fancy vivid and Fancy dark are the most adored and therefore the most expensive. Red, purple and orange are the secondary hues found in pink diamonds and the color in these natural pink rocks are caused by a process called plastic deformation. Pink stones play the role of cupid among the colored diamonds.
Blue Diamonds can be bought in a varied selection of shapes and intensities. They are usually certified by GIA or IGI. Loose blue rocks are extremely rare and as a result, their prices are very high. Fancy blues are completely natural and are classified as either gray-blue or green-blue. The color in gray-blue, grayish-blue, blackish-blue, or black-blue rocks are caused by the presence of small amounts of boron in their molecular structure. Green-blue or greenish-blue (teal) colored diamonds usually contain nitrogen impurities in aggregate form.
Famous people like actor and director, Ben Affleck purchased a 6.1 carat pink diamond as an engagement ring for Jennifer Lopez. David Beckham purchased for his Wife, Victoria Posh Adams, Formerly known as Spice Girl, a $1.8 million pink diamond apology ring. At two consecutive Sotheby auctions, Blue Diamond dealer Lawrence Graff paid for a 3.73 carat fancy vivid blue diamond and Lisa Moussaieff payed for a 39.19 carat blue diamond.
More and more, people are learning of these beautiful and rare diamond colors. Blue and pink are the most common of the colors but the other colors are cheaper and just as beautiful. Knowing the diamonds are classified, certified, and graded adds quality assurance to the selections available for consumers. With the many different colors and secondary hues, you could find that perfect and very unique diamond like no other. The wealthy in many of the nations of our world have been enjoying the beauty of these stones for ages. Mine Cut Diamond
What are the benefits of a mine cut diamond?
if all other factors ( the 4 c’s ) are the same, which is better- mine cut, european cut or round brilliant?
what are the benefits of these cuts?
The old mine cut is generally not used these days. The round brilliant is the best cut for a diamond, because it gives the most light return. No other cut sparkles like the round brilliant. If the other 3 C’s are comparable, the round cut diamond (assuming it’s cut to the proper proportions) is going to be by far the prettiest stone.
