Diamond Semi Eternity

Ever since the ancient times, Eternity rings have been popular especially in the west. People have been switching rings for over four thousand years now because it is considered to be a sign of epochal friendship or relationship. Egypt culture and civilization holds a significant place in world history. The Egyptians were the very first people in the world to invent the art of making rings and wearing them as a piece off intricate jewelery. This piece of jewelery or a ring consisted of a continual band of metal which was embedded with precious stones and other kinds of semi-precious stones. Even in those days these rings were symbols of everlasting love and friendship. This practice continues even today as people still exchange eternity rings to show that they love and care! The round continuous circle of a ring means that two people are pledged towards an undying relationship of love which is unbreakable.

Eternity rings are exchanged on a number of occasions today. We may take the example of friendship. Men do exchange rings in one way of the other but Eternity rings are the métier of women worldwide. Girls, who are graduating students, often exchange rings as a sign of undying and eternal friendship when they part ways.

The second example can be taken as engagement. An engagement is perhaps the most hyped and the most loved stage in a person’s life. Since it’s the beginning of a commitment of a lifetime people tend to make it memorable so that it stays in their hearts for eternity. Whether it is a proposal by someone of the opposite sex or you proposing to someone of your own choice, people exchange rings upon mutual alliance. Generally a man holds out the ring to the woman he loves!

Citing another important example here, we cannot forget the wedding. Wedding rings are exchanged along with wedding vows both by the man and the woman. A ring is the most essential part of a wedding. While wedding rings are made out of gold, silver, bronze, ivory and precious stones people are of the opinion that it is the mutual feeling that matters the most. Even then people don’t hesitate to spend almost everything on expensive wedding rings just because they believe that the more expensive the ring, the more will their love for their partner show up.

Parents and children too exchange rings. This practice was even seen during scriptural days. The adherence between parents and children is inviolable, some parents tend to exchange rings with their children as a sign of their love. This practice is common in households which have imminent detachment between parents and children, by distance. Children going to the war often buy rings for their parents before they leave. Exchanging rings also takes place between children and parents in cases of imprisonment. Even though these rings are a symbol of love and sweet memories some prisons do not allow metals inside their premises.

This cultured world is for elite individuals with contacts and/or mining experience?

Not even close

Did you know you can cash and carry diamonds, rubies emeralds and every other precious stone that interests you? The lasting value of diamonds is known by everyone. But you may not realize that entry level opportunity investors can pyramid substantial profits by involving themselves in this highly lucrative industry.

Why?

You will be astounded to realize that precious stones are paid for by non-industry buyers who decide by emotional decision. Per Ca-pita, the most avid consumers of precious stones are wealthy females. Money is rarely the issue. There is an “intrinsic value” index that precious stones can be measured by. But when it comes to the retail buyer of these beautiful sparkling symbols of eternity- they are paid for by the “thrill” and not by the carat.

Many affluent individuals are very sophisticated in their buying habits. They rarely buy “rocks” premade into jewelry. They prefer to focus on buying the “rocks” separately and have an artisan craft the finished product usually having an input into the design process.

Horse shoe diamond ring anyone?

This particular attribute of the precious stones industry makes it so astoundingly lucrative. Buyers fall in love with certain aspects of a particular stone. Often a high price tag and a few choice words of objective justification of the price can add 30% or more value.

Now that is low-cost value adding. An investment objects ultimate measure of value is simply somebody saying “yes, I’ll take it”

How to achieve that is up to you as a professional “price justifier”

Please don’t think for a moment that this is pushing ethical boundaries. How else do commodities get valued if not by measuring the markets willingness to pay a price. After all, if somebody has enough discretionary income to pay $19,090 for a little polished rock, then how can getting $22,000 for it be any more unethical.

The value is measured in the satisfaction it brings the new owner. Your price justifications manufacture that permanent happiness and install permanent, portable value into the stone they just bought.

There are several pieces of information you need to know, to become specialized in this field. It isn’t rocket science. Stone clarity, weight and the quality of “cutting” are a few examples.

There are many good resources on these topics. As an opportunity investors our interest is limited to the final outcome…..the deal. So discovering the fundamentals is all we require to make a good living and building enourmous wealth with semi precious stones gems and diamonds.

The engagement ring has signified that a woman is taken and will soon be married to her true love. Traditionally this most important ring typifies her groom’s love, fidelity, faith and is a celebration of their impending union in marriage; as well as an indication of his wealth. The bigger, shinier the diamond is that sparkles upon his betrothed’s finger- the fatter his wallet had better be! Thank goodness that today’s engagement ring market has changed somewhat; or has it?

Solitaire diamond engagement rings and diamond clusters still dominate the bridal jewelry industry, although today’s brides-to-be are also opting for rings with various gemstones for a different look. So exactly what is a solitaire ring? Basically it has a single stone set into a metal band. In the case of engagement rings, the stone is most often a diamond.

The classic solitaire engagement ring features one gorgeous gem as its centre, with rubies, pearls sapphires and emeralds all being popular choices as the secret language of love within an engagement; especially among royalty. Diamonds are still undoubtedly however the most preferred choice.

The reason that diamonds are particularly stunning in a solitary setting is due to their stunning merits. It’s true to say that most women expect a nice sized diamond to adorn their left ring finger once they’ve been asked the big question. An estimated 80% of engagement rings sold annually contain diamonds.

What shaped gem, be it a diamond, emerald, ruby or an equally exquisite stone is best suited for a priceless solitaire engagement ring? The most popular of all solitaire engagement rings is the round, but marquise, emerald, pear, and oval-shaped stones all elongate the gem, thereby creating a stunning solitaire ring. Another eye-catching unique ring shape is the single heart or trillium-cut stone which draws the eye to the shape rather than size of the particular stone.

Obviously an enormous and flawless single rock is very impressive, but the cut and size of your solitaire engagement ring should be chosen to suit the size and shape of your hands, your routine, lifestyle and budget as well as personal taste. A woman with an active lifestyle may be better off with a smaller solitaire ring with rounded edges which is practical as well as attractive. It’s not all about impressing the world at large, despite what any well-meaning girlfriends have to say! It all comes down to what is within your budget and what the both of you like the best.

Why do Cushion-Cut Diamonds and Asscher-Cut Diamonds cost less than the comparable quality in a Round-cut ?

When I look at stones with the same cut, color, clarity, carat size, cushion cuts and asscher cuts are less expensive than the round cut diamonds. What is the reason for the price difference? Thanks.

Round Brilliant Diamond have the priority market when it comes to pricing. This is due to deBeers control of the market. It is also the most labor-intense to cut.
Other cuts such as Ascher, and Cushions, are less labor intense and although very pretty, globally, they are not near as popular.

Need help finding matching wedding band?

I just recently got engaged, but I want to get a head start on planning. I’m trying to find any kind of wedding band that would go beautifully with my engagement ring.

My engagement ring is a 1 ctw. round diamond center, two trillian-cut pink sapphires, and two rows of four pave-set diamonds on each side (16 total). Here’s a link to a picture.

Any suggestions, comments, pictures, links, anything would be very much appreciated!!!

Beautiful ring. Congrats. I would go with a band that looks like the one on your ring except have it only be one row.

Here are two links. The first is all diamonds and the second is white and pink diamonds. I know they are from Tiffany’s and probably out of your price range as they are out of mine and most of the country’ s price range but I thought they could be a good point of reference. A good jeweler can make you a ring to look however you want it to. My ring is a “tiffany” style ring – round with six prongs and small diamonds in the bands. The jeweler custom made it for probably about 1/3 of what it would have cost at Tiffanys.
