How much money could I get for my engagement ring???

I am getting divorced and I need $$$. My ring is beautiful. It is platinum featuring 2.01 Pear shape center diamond which is VVS-2 Clarity AND H Color. The diamond is EGL certified, and enhanced by 1.00 totalweight of 2 prong set princess cut diamonds which are G-H Color and SII Clarity. It is appraised at $18,750. How much can I actually get from a jeweler for it??? Please help.
PS It is the nicest thing I’ve ever owned. And my heart is breaking, because I’ve enjoyed every minute I’ve worn it. But since the marriage is ending, I need money for purchase of a condo, and I have not saved much money.

You need to be very patient when selling your jewelery,and do not make the jeweler feel that you are in need of cash..The appraisal you got is an insurance appraisal and they are usually 2-3x of real value,so you can not really depend on it..
